Materials:

Lace applique

2 pieces of white felt the size of applique

1 piece plastic the size of applique

Pencil

Craft glue

Pin back

Fabric paint pens in colors of your choice

Optional: Needle and thread

Beads

Instructions:

Using colors of your choice and fabric paint pens, color those parts of the applique you want leaving the rest of the applique white.

Trace the shape of your applique on the felt and cut out 2 shapes. Trace and cut out the plastic slightly smaller than the felt shape.

Glue the plastic between the felt pieces and glue the applique on the front on the felt sandwich. Glue the pin back to the back. As an option you may sew the felt pieces, the applique and the pin back together. You may add beads to accent the applique.
