Flower Cookies
Make your favorite sugar cookie dough or use purchased rolls of sugar cookie dough in this project

Materials:

Chilled rolls of cookie dough
Lollipop sticks
Non stick cookie sheets
Canned white frosting
Food coloring in yellow and flower color
Waxed paper
Plastic wrap or sandwich bags
Green curling ribbon
Cake or Cookie racks to cool cookies on
Instructions:
Slice full rounds of the cookie dough and space them so they will not touch while baking. Add a lollipop stick to each cookie
and bake according to instructions on the package or recipe. Carefully move them to cooling racks and allow to cool completely.
When cool divide the frosting into 2 or 3 small bowls. Tint each bowl the color you want with a few drops of food coloring.
You will need yellow and white for daisies. Frost the cookies and put them aside to allow the frosting to set.
Gently wrap each cookie in plastic wrap or small plastic sandwich bags (fold top style) tie at the base of the cookie with a
piece of green curling ribbon Curl ends to look like tendrils..
Use as is or arrange some in a large flower pot as a centerpiece and make the Flower Pot Place Cards. Instructions in this issue.
