Butter one slice white bread with the spread of your choice
and layer with sliced meat and or cheese, top with a slice of wheat
bread. Using the cookie cutter cut the sandwiches into fancy shapes.
A different shape for each filling.
Arrange on the individual plates with half a deviled egg, carrot
and celery sticks, flowerets of cauliflower and broccoli trees.
Add cut pieces of fresh fruit.
With a tall glass of iced lemonade or tea with mint sprigs
this makes an easy, light and festive lunch.
Serve rainbow sherbet for desert.
