Beaded Candle

This works well with novelty beads for special occasions.

Materials:
Pillar Candle - color of your choice
Craft wire - long enough to circle the candle several times
Beads - Combination of faceted beads and novelty beads
Candle holder with a center spike
Small nail or awl

Instructions:

Heat the pointed end of the nail/awl and melt a small groove into the bottom of the candle from the center toward the edge of the candle. Place one end of the wire into the groove and bend it up to the side of the candle.

Thread beads every 1/2" along the wire and wrap the wire firmly around the candle until you reach the candle top. Melt a tiny hole in the top edge of the candle where the wire ends and insert the wire end into the hole.

Center the candle on the spike. For added sparkle you can place some of the beads into the candle holder around the base of the candle.
