Materials:

A craft stick

Small piece black felt

6 black pom poms 1/4"

4 black pom poms 1/8"

1/4" Ribbon or fabric strip for scarf & hat band

Cord or floss for hanger

White craft glue

White paint and brush

Instructions:

Paint the craft stick white on all sides, allow to dry. Fold your black felt in half and cut out 2 top hat shapes (see picture for guide). Glue a loop of floss or cord on the craft stick about 1/2" down from the top. Glue the hat shapes over the hanger loop, one on the front and the other on the back of the craft stick, be sure the front and back hat shapes are lined up evenly.

Glue a piece of ribbon around the the hat just above the hat brim tucking the ends under the hat shapes at one side.

Glue the 1/4" pom poms on the craft stick for eyes, nose and buttons using the picture to guide you. Nest glue the 1/8" pom poms in a curved row to look like the snowman's lumps of coal smile.

Wrap the 'scarf' around the snowman's neck just below his smile and glue in place.
