Spring Place mat
Instructions: Iron the fabric to the shiny side of freezer paper. Cover the work area and the yard stick with plastic wrap. Place the fabric/freezer wrap on the plastic wrap and use the yard stick to draw straight lines 1/4" in from all edges with the fray chek or fabric glue (use the red lines as your guide). Allow to dry. Apply paint to the stamp the way you want the image to look and stamp the place mat. You can also stamp the outline and then apply the paints directly to the fabric as you wish. Option: Use a black permanent marker to trace the butterfly in the corner of your fabric. Iron the fabric to freezer paper and paint or color to match the butterfly. Allow the paint to dry. For crayons after coloring, remove the freezer paper and iron the colored area between 2 pieces of brown paper bag moving the paper and ironing again until no more wax is removed. When your design is finished and dry, remove the freezer paper and ravel the four sides back to the glue line giving your place mat a fringed edge.
