Materials:

2 slices of bread

Spread of your choice

1 slice lunch meat

1 slice cheese

Cookie cutters shapes of your choice

Table knife

Instructions:

Cover each slice of bread to the edges using your choice of spread. Place one slice of cheese on top of the lunch meat and cut out the center with the cookie cutter. Place the meat on one slice of bread replacing the cut out area with the cheese cut out. On the second slice of bread place the cheese with the meat cutout center.

If using small cookie cutters you can cut several shapes and place the cheese into the meat cutouts and the meat into the cheese cutouts.

Options: Spread the bread with strawberry jam or jelly and place the cheese slice with the cutout on top so the jam/jelly shows through the cheese. Reserve the cutout pieces of cheese to top crackers for another time.
