Materials:

1 Grapevine wreath 12"

1 Grapevine wreath 10"

2 sheets of black felt or foam

Strip of red fabric or old scarf.

Red ribbon (or color of your choice) for hat band

2 large jingle bells for buttons (2")

2 black buttons 1" with 2 holes

1 orange button 1/2"

4 small jingle bells painted black

Fishing line

Wire

White craft glue

Wire cutter

Instructions:

Place the smaller wreath on top of the larger and joint them by wrapping wire around the wreath where they meet. Tie off the wire and clip. Make a hanger on the top back of the smaller wreath.

Cut an oval from one piece of felt/foam. Cut a slit in the center of the oval so it will fit over the top smaller wreath. Glue the oval in place. Wrap the second piece of felt/foam around the top of the small wreath just above the oval to form the crown of the hat. Glue in place. Add the ribbon hat bag and glue in place.

Use the picture to show placement of the bells and buttons. Tie the bells and buttons in place and add some glue to each knot.

Tie the scarf around his neck.
