Materials:

6" X 8" Felt of craft foam in purple

4" X 5" felt or craft foam in yellow

5" X 6" felt or craft foam in green

Colored markers in yellow, purple, brown and green to add details

White craft glue

1/2" red or orange pom pom

Cardboard paper towel core

Instructions:

Trace each pattern piece on the felt/foam and cut them out. Cut a single strip of purple felt/foam to form the ring. Wrap the strip around the towel core and join the two ends. Glue in place.

Arrange the 4 small petals in a fan with the 2 center petals to the back and the 2 outer petals in front (use the picture as a guide). Glue them in place over the joint on the ring. Glue the large petal in place below the 4 small petals.

Draw the detail marks on the yellow large petal with the brown marker and use yellow marker on the purple petals (use the picture as a guide). Glue the pom pom in the center of the pansy.

Draw the veins in the leaves and glue them in place under the petals one on each side.
