We show three designs that you may use for your sun catcher. In the project we used shrink plastic but did not shrink it. You can make these into ornaments by printing out the designs and reducing the size of each and then proceed as directed.

Materials:

5-1/2" piece of stiff clear plastic or acrylic
Red glitter
Blue glitter
Clear or white glitter
White craft glue
Black permanent Sharpie type pen
Cotton swab
6" to 8" piece of ribbon or cord for hanger

Instructions:

Print out the picture pattern. Place your clear plastic over the pattern and trace all the black lines with the black permanent marker. Cut out the circle and place it over the pattern.

With the cotton swab spread white craft glue within the area that is colored white. Sprinkle with clear or white glitter and allow to dry completely. Tap off any loose glitter. Spread white craft glue within the area that is colored red. Sprinkle with red glitter and allow to dry completely. Tap off any loose glitter. Spread craft glue on the areas colored blue. Sprinkle with blue glitter. Allow to dry and tap off any loose glitter.

Punch a small hole 1/4" from the edge to add a hanger cord or ribbon.
