We show the Star with a circle in the center for a picture but you can complete the lines so they meet in the center.

Materials:

Paper, Fun Foam or Felt (5" square)
Craft glue
Red, White and Blue glitter
Paint
Hole punch
Ribbon or cord hanger
Option: Small school picture

Instructions:

Trace the star shape onto the material of your choice. Cut out and decorate the five points with the colored paint while still damp sprinkle with glitter and allow to dry. Turn over and spread white craft glue in a quilt type pattern. See the picture for an idea. Sprinkle glitter on the glue so it shows red, white and blue. Punch a hole in one point and place your cord or ribbon hanger through the hole and tie the two ends in a knot.

Option:

If this is a gift for a relative before you apply the glue and glitter glue your picture to the center of the star and carefully add glue to the area outside the picture then sprinkle glitter and allow to dry.
