Clean the pots and wipe them to be sure there
is no dust. Paint them with two coats of acrylic paint and allow
to dry. Paint the saucer or wood round and the bead as well. When
dry paint your flowers on the sides of the pot by dipping the
eraser of your pencil into the paint and dotting the flowers.
A yellow dot in the center and 5 or 6 dots in a circle around
the yellow center form a flower. To make the leaves use some green
paint and make a small comma with your eraser end. The rim of
the pot can be decorated with small dots. Make dots randomly with
your toothpick.
When completely dry cut the felt in a circle
to fit the bottom of each pot and glue in place. Glue the wooden
bead to the center of the saucer or wood round.
We have shown the small container which can be
used for a roll of postage stamps or paper clips and the 4" container
which can be used as a pencil cup. You can, however make additional
containers in different sizes or the same size to include any
other office necessities. As an option you can also write with
the paint what the container holds such as stamps, paper clips,
etc.
