Make multiples and use in place of a Valentine card for your friends.

Materials:

Craft stick or piece of Fun Foam or felt cut in a long strip
A round circle of white felt or Fun Foam the size of a quarter
2 small brown hearts for ears
A tiny black heart for his nose (may use heart shaped bead)
2 wiggle eyes
A permanent marker
White craft glue
Scissors
If using a craft stick you will need acrylic paint color of your choice and a paint brush.

Instructions:

If using a craft stick paint the entire stick front and back allowing it to dry thoroughly. Using the picture as your guide cut a long strip of felt or Fun Foam. Write down the stick an inch and a half from the top the letter "I", draw a small heart (or use a heart sequin) the number "2" and then READ, one letter below the other down the length of the bookmark.

At the top of the bookmark glue the circle so that it is at least half on the strip or stick. Glue the two hearts one on either side for ears. Glue on the wiggle eyes, the nose and draw an upside down "V" for his mouth.

These can be used as your personal bookmark or you can make multiples and use them as Valentine gifts by signing your name and the date on the back.
