Materials:

2 pieces felt 3" X 4" color of your choice for pouch

3 additional scraps of felt 2" X 2" in three different colors for flowers

6" X 7" piece of green felt for leaves and handle

3 Yellow buttons for flower centers about 1/2"

Embroidery floss to match pouch

Green thread

Needle

Scissors

Instructions:

Measure your cell phone and add one inch to the width and 1/2" to the length and cut out the pouch. Draw a 5 petal flower shape and cut 3 from the scraps of different colored felt. Cut a strip of green felt 6" X 3/4" wide as well as 5 leaf shapes.

Using the buttons and 4 strands of embroidery floss, stitch each flower shape to one pouch piece. Stitch the 3 leaf shapes under the edge of a petal, one to each flower shape on the same pouch piece. Place the 2 pouch pieces wrong sides together and blanket stitch the three sides leaving the top open.

Fold the green felt strip in thirds along the length to form a vine handle. Stitch the entire length with the green thread. Tack the ends of the vine on the seam and through both layers of the pouch near the top edges. Stitch a leaf shape over each end of the vine. Use the picture as your guide.
