Message: 18 inch German doll by J. D. Kestner Jr. in amazing condition. Mold 171 called "Daisy" with original blonde hair. Bisque, socket-head marked [6 1/2 Made in Germany 7 1/2], no cracks. Open mouth, teeth show, blue glass eyes open/close. Kestner ball-jointed composition body stamped Germany 1 1/2. Clothing was custom made for doll. Doll Values 9th Edition (2007) lists value at $1,500-1,600. Available at auction in Albany, Oregon on October 10, 2009. Message: I have two antique dolls. The first one is a Nancy Ann Storybook Scotch doll with tall white boots All Original. The second one is a Nancy Ann storybook doll she is Hungarian #36. They are both from the Around the World Series and they are both Nancy Ann Storybook dolls in their presentation boxes. Both of the dolls come in their original boxes and have the sticker tags on each box. Both of the dolls are from the 1940's or possibly earlier than that, between 1900's to 1940's.
