Lady Jennifer is numbered 288 of 2000, and is 34 inches tall. This doll has never been displayed; however, I did replace the stand. There is one pearl that has broken off on her necklace; but, it isn't noticeable if you turn her necklace. I will need to give you the shipping amount, because I am not certain the amount. Baby Heather was an expensive doll that wore a pink onesie and was electronic. You could set her at 3 different ages: newborn, 6 months, 1 year (I think) and she would behave accordingly. She cried, slept, ate, etc.

My name is Andrew Malcolm Thomson and I am looking to sell the doll whose photo has been attached. This doll has been in my family for many generations and as a child it scared the pants off me. My brothers would use this fact to their advantage by hiding under my bed and slowly raising “Man Doll” up the side of the bed giving me heart attack. The reason I tell you this is because 20+ years ago when my folks sold their house and moved I was willed this nefarious creature, but before my mother turned his reigns over to me she went to have refurbished. The folks at where my mother went told her not to do so because it would decrease the value of the doll. Is this fact? Not knowing anything about dolls I have left him in his original state and sealed him in an escape proof display so he could not cast his reign of terror on anyone else’s children.

Message: Very early, circa 1850s, German wax over papier mache Taufling Motschmann baby, 16" tall.
Fine early German wax over papier mache child nicely blushed cheeks, has original wig and finish, glass sleep eyes
Wonderful composition Motschmann body with bellows torso and floating joints, in surprisingly good condition for such an early example. Hair is painted side curls.
Doll is dressed in an early cotton gown with tatted lace edging, over her probably original chemise and pants. She also has a wonderful crochet bonnet (I forgot to add for pics). RARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Priced to sell at just $750
